Exercise and Age Related Musculoskeletal Decline
January 23, 2015
I was delighted to be invited to present a lecture to the Waterford Clinical Society this evening. I chose to speak on “Exercise and Age Related Musculoskeletal Decline”. The lecture highlighted the current literature investigating the importance of the different exercise types (endurance, resistance, flexibility and balance) and how exercise can have a hugely positive impact on healthy ageing. The feedback from those in attendance was great and we had a lively discussion about the issues raised.
