Operation Walk is an American charity and an Irish surgical team were invited to join them on their Hanoi 2016 mission. We worked alongside our American colleagues, learning from their 13 year experience. This was a huge logistical affair, shipping many pallets of equipment out before the team arrived.

We performed 85 hip and knee replacements on 61 patients - thanks to huge input from medical, anaesthetic, nursing, physiotherapy and administrative staff - what an experience!!
