I attended an enjoyable Sports Medicine Ankle Arthroscopy course in Rotterdam this week. It was attended by a number of European surgeons with an interest in ankle instability and ankle arthroscopy. We spent the day learning and discussing new procedures and techniques and working on the management of acute and chronic lateral ligament instability. A new arthroscopic technique is being developed, as well as an alternative rehabilitation protocol.
