Early morning start in Lisbon!

The conference was an Advanced Symposium European conference, combined with the International Federation of Foot & Ankle societies, so there were lots of presentations from Asia, North America and Europe

There were lots of talks on flatfoot pathology, ankle arthritis, the plantar plate and the unstable ankle in athletes – lots of food for thought!

It was my first time in Lisbon and I would live to visit this city again – while on holiday!
