Irish Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society

I hosted my final meeting as the secretary/treasurer of the Irish Foot and Ankle Society at Lyrath Estate in Kilkenny. Professor Stefan Rammelt was a truly superb guest speaker, gracing us with five informative lectures. He was practical, well-read, full of common sense and clearly extremely well versed and practiced on all Foot & Ankle topics. It was a pleasure to welcome him as my guest.

We had 80 delegates, with a strong showing from the Allied Health Professional and Orthopaedic Specialist Registrars. We also enjoyed the support of 16 medical companies, who had ample opportunity to show their wears to the enthusiastic crowd of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, from North and South of the boarder.
