Irish Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (IOFAS)

As Secretary/Treasurer of IOFAS, I ran the annual IOFAS Difficult Case Conference day at Cappagh National Orthopaedic Hospital, Dublin on Sat 21st Jan. Mr Fred Robinson from Cambridge University kindly travelled as our extern.  The day was well attended by 20 consultant Foot & Ankle surgeons from the island of Ireland and our extern. Each consultant presented their most challenging cases and many patients attended for examination by the group, which was followed by extensive discussion regarding management options.

It proved to be a most valuable day for both clinicians and patients.  Our thanks are extended to Mr Robinson for taking the time to join us.
