Patellofemoral Masterclass Conference

I attended the Patellofemoral Masterclass conference in Coventry, UK at the start of November this year. It is a two day conference focused entirely on the joint between the knee cap (patella) and the thigh (femur). It was very useful and very well attended. Topics included the clinical and radiological assessment of patients with anterior knee pain, what operative options are currently being explored and also on the degenerative patellofemoral joint.

As the only surgeon in Ireland currently offering isolated patellofemoral knee replacements, I have a particular interest in this group of patients.

Details of the course can be found here.
